Robotic Head Tracks User With OpenCV
Vikas is developing Blinki, an ongoing OpenCV- and MediaPipe-based teleoperable robot head that tracks his head movements and displays expressions, with code on GitHub and a demo on YouTube. The system uses a Waveshare ST3215 serial-bus servo and an 8×8 LED matrix to render eye patterns while serial commands drive smooth motion. The project is open-source and extensible for hobbyists.
