A year after the deadly Pacific Palisades fires, Ring on Monday launched Fire Watch, a new opt-in safety feature inside the Neighbors section of the Ring app that shares real-time, on-the-ground camera data with first responders. Built with nonprofit Watch Duty, the feature uses AI to map embers, smoke, and fires to help prioritize resource deployment and speed targeted firefighting.
