This project demonstrates a 100% solar-powered AI system built with a Raspberry Pi Zero 2W, a 6W photovoltaic panel, a DFRobot Sun Power Manager, and Ollama running an 8-bit quantized 135M unsloth model. The Pi (512MB RAM) consumes about 2.5W under load; ten hours of sunlight can yield roughly four to five hours of continuous inference using MPPT-managed battery buffering.
