Qualcomm Predicts India Becoming Global Manufacturing Hub

Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon said at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 on Feb. 21 that India is emerging as a global manufacturing hub and that AI will accelerate large-scale automation across industries. Qualcomm announced a partnership with Tata Electronics to manufacture Qualcomm automotive modules at a new Jagiroad, Assam OSAT plant, and said 6G will embed AI for network sensing and new services.
