Protege Launches DataLab To Advance AI Data

Protege announced DataLab, a new research institution advancing AI data science and partnering with major frontier labs and a majority of the "Magnificent 7". DataLab will produce, repackage, and surface real-world training and evaluation datasets—including multimodal healthcare benchmarks like MedScribe and Medcode—to establish reproducible dataset standards and methodologies. The initiative aims to improve dataset quality for high-stakes model training and invites collaboration from labs, academics, and domain experts.
