Project Prometheus, founded in 2025 and backed by Jeff Bezos, is building industrial AI systems for aviation, engineering and architecture and has hired xAI co-founder Kyle Kosic to lead infrastructure. The secretive startup, co-led by Vikram Bajaj and operating in San Francisco, London and Zurich with hundreds of staff, plans to raise tens of billions and acquire companies to obtain domain data for model training.
