Physics Forums Admits Using AI to Post Replies
In a Feb. 12, 2025 forum post published April 4, 2026, Physics Forums moderator Greg Bernhardt admitted using generative AI over several months to add discussion summaries, topical FAQs and bot replies to old zero-reply threads. He apologized, said real accounts may have been used, and announced that all AI components and generated content have been removed and scrubbed to restore community trust.
