Petrobras Acquires Petronas Stake Restoring Control

On March 16, Petrobras said it will buy Petronas’ 50% stake in the Tartaruga Verde field and Espadarte Module III in Brazil’s Campos basin for $450 million, restoring Petrobras as sole owner of assets producing about 55,000 barrels per day. On March 6 the company reported Q4 2025 revenue of $23.6 billion, adjusted EBITDA of $10.9 billion (down 8.5% QoQ), record exports of 1.2 million bpd, and domestic output of 2.5 million bpd.
