Paris Prosecutors Search X Offices Over Allegations

Paris prosecutors said Tuesday they are searching X’s French offices in a preliminary investigation into alleged offences including spreading child pornography and sexually explicit deepfakes. The probe, opened in January last year by the prosecutors’ cybercrime unit, also examines alleged complicity in distributing minors’ images, Holocaust denial by X’s AI chatbot Grok, and automated-system manipulation; voluntary interviews for Elon Musk and Linda Yaccarino are scheduled April 20.
