Pakistan Launches National Skill Competency Test

The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan has notified the launch of a National Skill Competency Test for IT graduates, with registration due by February 6, 2026 and computer-based exams scheduled April 4–5, 2026. HEC developed the standardized assessment under Prime Minister’s directives alongside MoITT, PSEB and P@SHA to boost market readiness. Top candidates receive joint certificates, one academic credit, and national talent-pool inclusion.
