Nvidia Continues Shield TV Support With Update

Nvidia announced this week via its forums that Shield TV is receiving a new update, Shield Experience 9.2.4, which rolls out to all users. The update includes the January 2026 security patches and resolves multiple bugs—Disney+ playback, third-party remote and Bluetooth disconnects, sleep-mode CEC crash, and settings closure when triggering NVIDIA Share. The release signals continued maintenance for Shield TV beyond May 2025.
