NISM Expands Certification And Investor Education

In an interview, Sashi Krishnan, Director of the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM), outlines NISM's capacity-building mandate and certification framework, which certifies about 450,000–500,000 people annually across 32 disciplines and mandates three-year validity with six-hour CPE and re-examination. He describes academic programmes, investor outreach—200,000 physical participants and up to four million digital contacts—and plans to expand district-level education toward all 800 districts.
