Mercado Libre said on Feb. 24 that applying AI across its online commerce ecosystem boosted fourth-quarter results, driving 45% year‑over‑year net revenue growth and 67% growth in advertising. The company credited AI-powered bidding, automated campaign tools, personalized search in Argentina, seller-assistant features, and a Mercado Pago AI Assistant that handled over 9 million inquiries with 87% automation.
