KiwiSaver Funds Deliver Solid Quarterly Returns

Actuarial firm MJW released its December-quarter investment survey showing the median KiwiSaver balanced fund returned 1.7% for the quarter and 9.8% for 2025. The report attributes gains to developed-market equities, notable strength in Japan (up 12%) and a 30% return for MSCI Emerging Markets, and highlights Simplicity, Westpac, AMP, ASB and Milford leading across categories. The results cap a strong three-year performance trend.
