Karnataka Farmers Plan AI Farming Study Visit
Karnataka State Sugarcane Growers' Association says a team will visit Maharashtra in April 2026 to study AI-based agriculture technologies adopted by local sugarcane farmers. President Kurubur Shanthakumar said those farmers achieved higher production and lower cultivation costs, and the association also resolved to campaign against the SARFAESI Act with protests planned including an RBI demonstration and raising the issue at the March 19 Ramlila Maidan rally.
