K-water Showcases AI-Based Water Management Technology

Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-water) showcased AI-based water management technology at MWC 2026 in Barcelona last week, featuring digital twins for dam operations, AI-driven water treatment plants, and Smart Water Network Management (SWNM). SWNM won a Global Mobile Award, and K-water said it advanced partnership talks with Google, Meta, IBM and European groups including GSMA and Eurecat. CEO Yun Seog-dae said these steps aim to commercialize AI-driven water services and expand overseas.
