K-SURE Provides Record 275 Trillion Won Insurance

Seoul's Korea Trade Insurance Corp. (K-SURE) said on Jan. 28, 2026 it will provide a record 275 trillion won (US$192 billion) in trade insurance this year to help firms navigate rising global protectionism. The package allocates 114 trillion won for small and medium enterprises and 66 trillion won for ASEAN and Latin American exports, and targets strategic sectors including defense, artificial intelligence and renewable energy. K-SURE also said it will support U.S. investment opportunities under a tariff deal.
