IonQ Powers Romania National Quantum Network
IonQ announced on February 26 that its technology is powering Romania’s National Quantum Communication Infrastructure (RoNaQCI), a commercial quantum key distribution deployment operated with POLITEHNICA Bucharest and RoEduNet. The company described RoNaQCI as one of the largest and most complex operational QKD networks in Europe, intended to strengthen national communications security. DA Davidson simultaneously cut IonQ’s price target from $55 to $35, maintaining a Hold rating.
