InnovAI Accuses EchoAI Of Copying Models

Startup InnovAI is accusing Chinese firm EchoAI of copying its NeuralSpeak model, alleging direct lifts from public demos, whitepapers and shared code, and has mounted legal challenges that strain its resources. EchoAI founders Li Wei and Zhao Mei built large-scale products and a $10 billion valuation in part by adapting those techniques, say analysts citing similar architectures and error-correction protocols.
