Indonesia's Forestry Ministry on April 4 reaffirmed support for sustainable agriculture and AI-driven technology to help achieve food self-sufficiency, Deputy Forestry Minister Rohmat Marzuki said. The ministry will prioritize optimizing open non-forested land for seeds, agroforestry and downstreaming, and promote real-time AI data systems to boost productivity, efficiency and stable commodity supplies in the Lake Toba region.
