Djamari Chaniago, Indonesia’s Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs, said cybersecurity is a pillar for national defense while opening the BSSN Executive Town Hall 2026 in Depok on Monday. He warned cyber threats — including AI-based attacks, quantum-computing risks, and deepfakes — are evolving faster than regulations, urged rapid adaptive responses, and noted a December 2025 BSSN–planning ministry agreement to boost cybersecurity workforce training.
