IIT Kanpur and HCLTech signed an MoU on Feb. 27 to jointly translate research into pilots and scalable solutions for Global Capability Centres (GCCs). The collaboration focuses on AI, robotics and next‑generation technologies, enabling GCCs to access niche skills, accelerate complex research programmes and reduce time-to-market. Launched at the GCC 4.0 summit in Hyderabad, it links IIT Kanpur's research ecosystem with HCLTech's GCC practice.
