Google Gemini Adds Chat History Import Tools

Google is rolling out new switching tools that let consumer accounts import memories and chat history from other AI apps into Gemini, product manager Maryam Sanglaji announced. The Import Memories and Import Chat History features are available on the Gemini website and Settings page but exclude project files, images, and other generated files. The rollout begins today and simplifies migrating personalization and context into Gemini.
