Fei-Fei Li Advocates Spatial Models For Robotics

World Labs CEO Fei-Fei Li said Tuesday (Feb. 3) in conversation with Cisco CPO Jeetu Patel that AI progress is shifting from language fluency toward spatial understanding and action. She introduced Marble, a first-generation spatial model that generates navigable, geometry-consistent 3D environments from multimodal inputs, and warned that data scarcity and simulation fidelity, not compute alone, will constrain deployments across robotics, design and healthcare.
