Elon Musk Outlines Multi-Planetary, AI-Powered Future

Elon Musk told BlackRock CEO Larry Fink at the World Economic Forum in Davos in January 2026 that his companies are accelerating work across AI, robotics, space and energy to "maximize the future of civilization," and he outlined plans ranging from humanoid robots to solar-powered AI satellites. He warned that electrical power is the primary bottleneck, estimating a 100-by-100-mile solar field could electrify the United States. Musk predicted rapid deployment of Tesla's Optimus robots by year-end.
