Education Minister Urges Industry-Led Curriculum Reform
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Jan 13 chaired a NITSER meeting in New Delhi and called for industry-led curriculum committees, industry-centric PhD programmes, and curriculum alignment with national priorities and emerging technologies such as AI, semiconductors, green hydrogen and quantum technologies. He asked that premier technical institutions join accreditation frameworks and directed 13 NITs to set up incubation centres and at least ten NITs to initiate research parks.
