Econet Expands Network With 103 Base Stations

Econet Wireless Zimbabwe Ltd established 103 base stations in the third quarter to November 30, 2025, including 27 lightweight sites to improve coverage in developing urban and rural areas. The group also completed core voice and data network expansion, is finalising a new billing and subscription platform, and is deploying AI-driven autonomous network features to enable IoT use cases and personalised services.
