DTA Recruits Leader For Government AI Oversight

The Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) is recruiting a digital governance and risk expert to establish and manage Labor’s whole-of-government AI oversight committee, and has advertised eight AI-related vacancies overall. Acting DTA chief executive Lucy Poole told iTnews the roles support the APS AI Plan and that the committee is scheduled to be operational late this year, with more information expected by mid-2026.
