Dematic Launches UK Warehousing Automation Study

Dematic today launched The UK’s Automation Tipping Point, a study examining how labour shortages, constrained real estate, consumer expectations, and AI are reshaping automation strategy in UK warehousing. Based on interviews with 3PLs, the UK Warehousing Association and DHL Supply Chain, the report finds AI enables resilience but won’t replace humans, and recommends modular brownfield automation and multi-tenant Warehouse-as-a-Service approaches.
