DeepMind Launches India Partnership To Deploy Models
DeepMind announced at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 a partnership with the Anusandhan National Research Foundation to deploy science-focused AI models, including AlphaGenome, AI Co‑scientist and Earth AI, for student and researcher training and hackathons. Google Cloud will scale the iGOT Karmayogi upskilling platform for about 2 crore government employees in 18 languages, and DeepMind pledged a $30 million AI for Science Impact Challenge while reiterating subsea cable and data‑center investments.
