Cisco Ships G300 Silicon Enabling 102.4 Tbps Networks

Cisco this week unveiled its Silicon One G300, a 102.4 Tbps switch chip with 512 200 Gbps SerDes and support for up to 1.6 Tbps ports. The G300 pairs a collective networking engine with P4 programmability and new 1.6 Tbps and 800 Gbps optics, claiming up to 33% better link utilization and reduced AI training times. Shipments begin later this year.
