China Boosts Digital Services Trade Surplus

China's digital services exports reached a record high in 2025, with the digital services trade surplus rising to about $33 billion, more than double the prior year, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange reported. Telecom, computer and information services surplus hit roughly $31.8 billion, up nearly 30%, while cloud computing overseas revenue reached 45 billion yuan ($6.3 billion) in 2024.
