Business Groups Urge Korea-Japan AI Cooperation

Major business associations in South Korea and Japan — the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) and Keizai Doyukai — on Jan. 14 issued a joint proposal calling for stronger industrial cooperation in the artificial intelligence era. The proposal outlines three objectives including autonomous industrial infrastructure, health-care collaboration, and ASEAN expansion, and calls for cooperation on data centers, power management, technology research and data sharing, aligning with summit talks between Lee Jae Myung and Sanae Takaichi.
