Best Buy Expands AI Partnerships For Discovery
Best Buy said on its Q4 2026 earnings call that it is partnering with OpenAI and Google to make its product catalog available to ChatGPT and enable purchases through Google's Universal Commerce Protocol. CEO Corie Barry said the retailer is preparing bestbuy.com for AI agents and investing in fulfillment and in-store experience, even as Q4 revenue fell to $13.8 billion and comparable sales declined 0.8% year over year.
