Anthropic and investment firms Blackstone and Hellman & Friedman have introduced Ode with Anthropic as a standalone enterprise AI services business. The launch gives a public identity to the venture built around Fractional AI and names Chris Taylor as chief executive and Eddie Siegel as chief technology officer. Ode says its role is to help large organizations design, deploy and operate production AI systems, with Anthropic providing model expertise and support.

The venture had been announced before the Ode name was made public, so the current event is the launch of the operating brand rather than the formation of an unrelated company. Fractional AI provides the engineering base for the business, while its investment backers connect it with enterprise customers across their portfolios. Official materials describe Ode as independently operated, with its own leadership and plans to expand its team.

Ode is positioned as an implementation company, not a model developer. Its work covers the path from identifying valuable enterprise use cases through building and operating applications in production. The company centers its offering on Anthropic models and safety practices.
