Andhra Pradesh Pursues Quantum And AI Hub

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced at the Raisina Dialogue on March 7, 2026, the state's ambition to become a global hub for quantum computing and AI, including a quantum computer in Amaravati expected operational by the end of 2026. He cited a $15 billion, 1-GW Google data centre investment in Visakhapatnam and outlined data-driven governance and a new Population Management Policy.
