Amazon Increases Investment In Spain Data Centers

Amazon announced on March 2 at MWC26 Barcelona that it will raise its Spain investment to €33.7 billion, adding €18 billion to a 2024 plan to expand data center infrastructure and cloud/AI capabilities across Europe. The company says the program will contribute €31.7 billion to Spain's GDP through 2035, support about 29,900 full-time equivalent jobs, and fund €30 million in community programs.
