A recent Vice report says that Soulseek, a peer-to-peer music network, has been flooded with AI-generated tracks replacing original vocals with Homer Simpson, with at least 2,000 uploads identified. The files propagate easily because users seed entire folders, and a separate 24/7 streamer, D’oh FM, auto-generates Homer covers on request. The influx is disrupting searches for rare underground releases.
