AI-Assisted Platform Improves Rheumatoid Arthritis Outcomes

Tongji Hospital conducted a single-center, multicampus real-world study from November 2024 to October 2025 comparing a nurse-led AI-assisted interactive management platform (n=184) with routine postdischarge care (n=157). At 6 months the platform group had larger DAS28 reductions (mean 5.04→4.27; P<.001), improved HAQ-II scores, higher medication adherence (90.2% vs 79.6%), and greater patient satisfaction (95.7% vs 76.4%). The system enabled remote monitoring and personalized nursing interventions.
Scoring Rationale
A credible, peer-reviewed real-world study with trial registration and measurable clinical improvements scored high for actionability and relevance; score tempered by single-center, quasi-experimental design which limits generalizability.
