YouTube Launches AI Playlist Generation For Premium
YouTube on iOS and Android has launched an AI-powered playlist generation feature for Premium subscribers, available via the Library tab's New → "AI playlist" option. Users can create playlists from text or voice prompts using genre or mood inputs; the feature follows July 2024 U.S. tests of AI radio stations and joins similar offerings from Spotify, Amazon Music and Deezer. Google reports 325 million paying subscribers across Google One and YouTube Premium.
