xAI Releases Grok Imagine 1.0 Video Generator

xAI announced on X that it unveiled Grok Imagine 1.0, a text-to-video upgrade that generates 720p videos up to 10 seconds with improved synchronized audio. The company said Grok Imagine produced 1.245 billion videos in the past 30 days and released a developer API with editing tools. Integration with X and the API positions xAI to compete with OpenAI, Google, and video-focused startups.
