VIT-AP University Signs MoU With EESL

VIT-AP University on March 10, 2026 signed a memorandum of understanding with Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) to launch a Smart Sustainable Campus Initiative on its Amaravati campus. The partnership will deploy smart meters, IoT monitoring, AI-driven energy management, LED retrofits, rooftop solar and waste-to-energy biogas, and create a Centre for Energy Efficiency and Sustainability. Nearly 20,000 students will access internships, audits and research opportunities, positioning the campus as a sustainability model.
