VAST Data Launches PolicyEngine And TuningEngine

At VAST Forward 2026, VAST Data unveiled PolicyEngine and TuningEngine, two services for its AI Operating System to govern agentic activity and automate model tuning and reinforcement-learning workflows. PolicyEngine enforces fine-grained permissions, tamper-proof logs and inline governance, while TuningEngine automates LoRA, supervised fine-tuning and RL, integrates with NVIDIA NeMo Data Designer for Nemotron models, and both services are expected by the end of 2026.
