The Universal Service Fund signed Rs 3.94 billion in contracts to deploy high-speed optical fiber and mobile broadband in Sanghar and Badin, Sindh, connecting about 1.81 million residents. The Sanghar project will lay 415 km of fiber (Rs 3.27 billion) while Badin will extend mobile broadband to 432,666 residents across 144 mauzas (Rs 668.47 million), supporting imminent 5G readiness.
