UN Praises India Hosting Global AI Summit

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres praised India for leading the India–AI Impact Summit 2026 and confirmed he will attend the New Delhi meeting on Feb. 19-20. He said the summit links to the Global Digital Compact and announced he has recommended 40 experts for an Independent International Scientific Panel on AI, including Balaraman Ravindran.
