Tufts Launches Dental AI Lab For Research

Hend Alqaderi, an assistant professor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, soft-launched the Dental AI Lab in July and is directing research and education on AI applications in dentistry. The lab, funded by Beyond Limits, develops predictive models using electronic dental records and X-rays, and offered a ten-lecture Artificial Intelligence in Dentistry course attended by 240 third-year students. The initiative aims to translate research into clinical tools for diagnostics and workflow automation.
