Tianma 1000 Completes Maiden Flight, Demonstrates Capability

China North Industries Group Corp reported that the Tianma 1000 unmanned transport plane made its maiden flight from Shaanxi province on Jan. 11, 2026. Developed by Xi'an Aisheng Technology Group, the aircraft supports up to 1 metric ton payload, 1,800 km range, 8 km ceiling, and short-runway operations under 200 meters, with AI-guided landing, autonomous loading and intelligent route planning for cargo and rescue.
