Sycamore Raises $65M To Build Agent OS

Sycamore Labs, a Palo Alto startup led by former Atlassian CTO Sri Viswanath, said on March 30, 2026 it raised $65 million in seed funding led by Coatue and Lightspeed. The company plans to build a trusted agent operating system offering discovery, deployment, observability and tiered trust controls for fleets of AI agents, and will expand engineering and applied AI teams.
Scoring Rationale
Credible, timely funding announcement with influential investors and an experienced founder. Scored high for industry-wide scope and relevance; novelty is moderate since agent OS concepts exist. Depth is limited on technical details, so score is reduced slightly.
