Switzerland Publishes Strategy To Build Quantum Hub

Switzerland's Academy of Natural Sciences published the 'Swiss Quantum Strategy' on March 4, 2026, drafted by the Swiss Quantum Commission for SERI, calling for CHF200–300 million to establish an international quantum hub. The plan recommends sector-specific infrastructure, a state-supported deep-tech fund, and public-private funding mechanisms to accelerate commercialization. If implemented, it aims to bridge research-commercialization gaps across more than 200 national research groups.
