Subject Raises $28M to Expand Courses

Subject, an AI-powered education platform, has raised $28 million in a round led by Vistara Growth and joined by NextEquity, Green Street Impact, and Outcomes Collective. The funding will accelerate expansion of accredited middle and high school courses, deepen automation including Teacher of Record and Multilingual AI, and support the platform’s growth across about 1,000 schools and 360 districts. The investment aims to help districts scale accredited, personalized instruction while reducing teacher workload and improving student analytics.
